Not long enough. Little nob jockey hard man wannabes should get a good stretch for their crimes. I hate pricks that do that sort of crap.
I think the coward should get a few years personally. the courts are far to easy on little dik heads like that.

It depends on what the Judge feels is the most appropriate sentence assuming the case is going to the Crown Court, which is most likely, and if you are found guilty assuming you plead Not Guilty to begin with. The Judge will take into account any mitigating circumstances, ie: you were forced to rob because of abject poverty and you have a starving family at home to feed and he will consider any aggravating factors, ie: the use of the knife, level of aggression involved, etc... If the Judge feels particularly lenient usually because he has a game of golf planned for later in the week he may give you a Community Order and instruct you to pay compensation to the victim. If however he is thoroughly pi**ed off because he has seen too many miserable theiving scrotes like you he may send you down for a stretch. Also, if the victim makes a Victim Impact Statement which tells the Court in his/her own words how the crime has affected him/her the Judge may take this in to account and feel you deserve to be given a harder punishment because of the level of suffering you inflicted. In my experience of dealing with these cases the Judges are always far too lenient and I suspect you will get no more than 18 months inside although you deserve a lot longer. Hopefully through this whole miserable experience you will have learnt your lesson and will think twice in future. Get a job and work for your payday instead of taking someone elses!

Talking in £sss I'm assuming you're in the UK. The offence you would be charged with is robbery, and the maximum penalty has been increased to life inprisonment. It all depends of the robber's previous convictions, how vicious the attack was, how the victim was affected by the whole thing, how the judge / jury / magistrates felt on the day. Impossible to say really.

I for one agree that sure their is a few thing atypical about this entire case and that i do trust like you that their is extra to this than meets the interest. As for individuals shouting about the reality and claiming their opinion is shown truth, what a load of codswallop. If their opinion became truth then my god how the hell would they comprehend, if like you're saying they weren't there. i'd keep on giving my evaluations as actually everyone looks entitled to their own opinion, and ignore about those who imagine they trust they have the answer. So no one is commonplace with for particular what got here about on that day except for the McCanns themselves. in effortless words at present my husband said he study someplace that the motel room madeline went lacking from, blood became discovered. Why has it taken this lengthy to locate blood, fairly that ought to were discovered or ought to were discovered lengthy b4 now. Thats yet another subject. and that i'll save my opinion to myself on that one.

this is classed as armed robbery and you can be sentenced on first indictment to life in prison if the judge feels there are sepcial circumstances to justify such a sentence. I hope you (or if its not you, whoever did it) gets a nice long sentence, and hopefully while they are away, someone with a razor blade in a toothbrush handle robs them. And cuts their face as a souvenir of time inside, because they dont deserve any better!!!

Here in America he is apt to get some thing he isn't looking for. A bullet. Many states now have a right to carry law. In most places( maybe all )crime has gone down where a regular joe might have a gun.

Not sure about there, but here in the states (California), it doesn't matter what you used and how much you got, it's a felony and you'll get about 20 years!
