I've never heard of that before. I've got a LOT of cats, all indoor, and my family has never had a problem remotely related to that. If his joints hurt, are they swollen? If they are, it might be an allergic reaction. But that would be very strange seeing as you've had at least 1 cat in the house for 6 years. New problems don't just pop up. Unless he's taking some sort of new medicine- which can cause new allergic reactions. Or, have nothing to do with the animals at all. In any case, I highly doubt his pain is due to your furballs, I'd give my doctor a call just in case, see what he or she has to say on the subject.
Good luck! =)

Nonsense... there is absolutely no evidence that this is so. Ask your hubby to see a doctor about his aching joints or else admit that when we age, our bodies break down bit by bit and we start to feel all those aches and pains we never did 10 years ago. The cold and wet weather also contribute to our discomfort. I know becuase I suffer from aching knees and back as well - but mostly when the weather turns wet and cold. Thell you hubby to pop one or two ibuprofen to reduce inflammation of the joints that cause the pain. Otherwise, he should see a doc. Blaming the cats is really... errr... retarded?

i don't think your cats can make his joints sore but tell him to consider this, i heard a news item on the frequency of a cats purr having some effect on bones. it is reported that people, mainly women who have cats are less likely to have problems with brittle bones. awesome huh? and people say cats are worthless creatures. i don't say that. i love cats. got a fat ole 15 pounder myself. don't anyone have a cow he is on a diet now and about to train him in the house to walk on a leash so i can start taking him for walks outside. we don't let him go out because we love the birds and other wildlife in our neighborhood that he could kill. also don't want him hit by a car on our busy street. anyway i am rambling on. good luck with convincing hubby he's wrong. try calling a doctor, they will tell you he's goofy then he won't have an achy jointed leg to stand on!! lol!!

There is no connection between cats and sore joints. Please encourage your husband to see his physician to get a physical exam. He may also want to consider having an allergy test done to rule out any underlying causes.

No, nothing to do with cats. If he was sneezing or had a runny nose I 'd say he's allergic, but it is obvious that the cats have nothing to do with his problem.

the only way those cats are going to make his joints sore is if he trips over them and falls!
Tell him to mellow out.
