if my doctor told me that i need to take this medicine 3 times daily and i stop taking it all together is that a bad thing will it hurt me because i took them for strep throat?

If I understand you correctly, your doctor wanted you to finish the whole bottle and you stopped? Here's the deal. When your body has an infection and you use ammoxicillin to get rid of it you must finish the whole bottle in order to insure that you killed all of the infection otherwise your body may not have rid itself completely of the infection and you may have to use stronger ammoxy to get rid of the infection due to the bacteria growing immune to the ammoxy.

You have to take the full prescription to clear up the strep infection. This is a serious illness and can cause permanent organ damage if not cleared up with the antibiotics prescribed.

You are supposed to take anti biotics until they are gone. Stopping the medication early is stupid and irresponsible and will help things like Strep Throat mutate into something that can not be beaten by anti biotics.

You should finish the meds. If you don't finish them the strep throat might not be totally gone.

You need to take ALL the medication to ensure you eliminate the bacteria causing the infection. If you do not, you risk having the infection return.

It won't hurt you to stop taking them, but if it is not done fighting your illness, then you are more likely to get sick again. I would finish taking it.

i was on ammoxicillian but a couple days in i developed a yeast infection. I stopped after i realized i had the infection. Nothing happened to me, i'm still here.

always always always finish your prescribed antibiotic. Not finishing them is how bacteria become immune to the antibiotics.
