Kentucky Derby Announcers (Al Michaels)?

Has Al Michaels ever called a KY Derby? If so which one? Thanks in advance!

He's anchored the broacasts when it was on ABC, but not called the actual race. During the race they just pick up the house call from Churchill Downs. Usually Tom Durkin.

No, to the best of my knowledge he is a sportscaster and not a race caller. He does have an affinity for horse racing though...LOL!
