i am a great believer that there is someone out there for everyone its just waiting for the right time till you meet each other.
i was on my own for 3 years following my divorce and i honestly thought it would never happen for me.
as you can get online why dont you try registering with an online dating site.thats what i did and i am now engaged and waiting to get married for the second time.
its a great way to make friends and i found my fella on a site called "midsummerseve.com" and best of all its mostly free.if you can't get out much its a good way to make friends and it builds your confidence too.
so go on be brave and give it a go.it only took me 3 months to find my future partner.

Of course there is someoe for everyone, but they might not know it. For example Johnny Depp is for me but hes not aware of that yet, so i just have to wait.

Sometimes you don't find him/her until you're 40 and you are married to someone and they are married to someone and then you feel totally lost because at the moment, you can't be with them and it just kills you inside......It's like finding the "other half" of yourself that totally compliments you...........
