Im planing to visit my country after 4 years I'm originally from Lima-Peru and I'm a USA resident. The only problem I have its that my Peruvian passport has my name as single and my green card as married. I contact the Peruvian Embassy and they said that I have to register my marriage in the embassy of the state i get married and they will register my marriage in Peru and they will issue me a new passport with my married name . So it sounds easy but Im currently in the middle of divorced so Im not planning to do that. My concern is if I will have problems with the immigration agents at the airport when i come back from Peru because my last names dont match. If u know someone that had travel with almost the same case let me know. THANKS

just carry your marriage / divorce certificate, and this will explain the name difference.

well I did travel with a passaport that have my single name and my resident card say my marry name only and didn't have not problems at all...So I say won't be a problem when you get in inmgration counter when you arrive in the states there is where you have to show both the passaport and the residents card...Good luck!!!
