Can I install Microsoft Word 2002 on a Windows Vista OS?

I have Word 2002 and want to know if it will work on Vista.

I think it will work but i suggest you to download the patches Office SP1 and Office SP2 from Microsoft.

actually never mind i was talking about Office 2003.

The installer does not function and microsoft does not support anything before Office 2003 in Vista, sorry

Don't see why not. Most new programs are downward mobile, that is, a newer program will open an older program, but an old program cannot open a newer one.
