Pork is a forbidden meat in the Islamic religion. However, some Islamic countries have pork for tourists. I need to know the names of those muslim countries where pork is offically banned. i.e you cannot sell it or bring it. I know Saudi Arabia is one of them. Please make sure you write the name of those countries.

Halal meat is Halal because of the way the animal is killed.
We have to recite a passage which is "In the name of Allah"
Also
The animal should not feel pain, therefore we kill the animal with a very sharp knife and slice the neck where the nerves are thus allowing no pain to be experienced by the animal
The animal shouldn’t not know its being killed, so you have to take the animal away from other animals so that it doesnt have a suspicion its next
You should try to cover their eyes so that they cannot see the knife
Also there are meats that are forbidden such as Pig meat. Pork is from pig so we cant eat it.
(I am trying to educate people who dont understand what is meant by Halal meat, I personally dont know which Muslim countries sell pork)

Add Turkey to the list.
even tho you could probably find some pork if you asked for it enough here, people will most definitely will not allow the selling of it.
The culture is very against that here.
So much so that the turks have to add the sign "does not contain pork derivatives" into their groceries products so people can buy them.

I guess they can do whatever they want in Muslim countries,it's not like Islamic law allows for anything resembling freedom for its adherants anyway. As long as they aqren't trying to tell the people of free countries how to live then they can do whatever they want in oppressive theocratic states. You would think however that they would want to make allowances for tourists being as they produce nothing of value except for oil that some of them have and money coming in from people visiting them,or perhaps in a few occassions a little cheap labor for huge US corporations. Rather than offend any of the countries where pork is restricted, not allowed, not eaten etc, just don't bother taking any with you anywhere, that would solve your problem, i am sure you can manage without pork whilst on holiday or travelling.

If its for tourists only than don't eat it. If the locals don't eat it than why should you?
