That is not that simple to understand chacras and kundalini and get the miracle by doing massages on chacras.

You have to be serious and must be lucky to have 'praptha' to get initiated first by a qualified guru and from there you can proceed step by step to reach 1000 petals if you perseverently try. University studies is just a simple benefit, on the other hand, you will be able to enjoy the peace which is very difficult to explain and you have to experienc it.

I have been doing the simplified kundalini duly initiated by my guru - Vethathri Maharishi of Tamil Nadu and reap a lot of benefits though I do not expect any miracle which I am not intersted too.

There are a number of good books on the subject (also see Kundalini). But simple meditation and relaxation will help you with your studies. Aromatherapy, homeopathy and herbs will also help you. Reiki will nicely supplement all these methods. Good luck.
