The difference is in the number of credits taken in a semester. Your individual school often defines what qualifies as part and full time. This is important for insurance if your parents are still claiming you on their policy

part time student...Take longer to get done school a full time student will take the time that it have to be done...2 years career fulltime...for a part time will twice I guess and some people do part time because they have to work to be able to pay school unless parents already did all the arrangements for them to pay school for the student so that student won't have to work and go a part time school...Thats all
