I'd have to say:
Tribute
Tinners
H.S.D
Proper Job
Admirals Ale
Black Prince
Dartmoor
IPA
Winter Warmer
Duchy

All from St Austell Brewery (I'm not biased...I just work for them...lol)

Harvey's Mild Ale, Old Ale, Best Bitter.
Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Ram Tam, Best Bitter.
....Then there are so many good beers brewed by so many small and micro breweries it would be unfair to single out any in particular.
....Much more of this and I'm going to have to go down the pub!

By the way - the answer below (Belhaven Best) is wrong - the stuff is KEG - not real ale!! Find some proper Belhaven beer.

At present I've given up alcohol for Lent but usually my favourite is Co-op's Strong Ale. It's got a good edge to it and it's Vegan too which makes it perfect in my eyes.

That is a very broad category of beer (ale). Personal favorite is India Pale Ale or an American Pale Ale.
