I don't know what the problem is. Somedays I wake up and I feel tensed, confused or my brain is lost. I'm in university, but I really don't take much stress, I'm an easy going guy.

I began to think it was some disorder like attention disorder. So I asked the the doctor, he said that if it's disorder, it doesn't come and go. He told me to a physical but appointment are quite tight.

If I drink coffee it makes it worse. Maybe it's lack of exercise, but I feel its more just then that.

Does any one have an idea what it may be? I be happy if you guys can help me out. Thanks

You my friend are definitely not alone.

I never had that experience in undergraduate school but several times during graduate school for business. I don't drink coffee but I do drink Coke. I cut down on the colas and increased my exercises regime...including AM and PM exercising. I even got to the point where I began to compete...or at least....run in marathons. The exercising helped immensely in reducing the "brain tension". Also doing something relaxing when you experience that feeling might help. I would kick back (when possible) an listen to some music...perhaps the familiarity of the music and lyrics...yes, I did sing along with the song...assisted in taking my unconscious mind of the tension.

I am not a medical professional so I can't tell you if the problem is organic or psychological. All I can tell you is what worked for me. Perhaps something in my experience might be of some benefit to you.

Hang in there and good luck. Hey! Remember to keep the doctor's appointment...you want to cover all the bases.

I kind of know how you feel. The same thing was happening to me in college. I think it was a build up of everything. Stress, late nights, studying, partying. My mental clarity was low. I did an internal body cleanse and it actually really kicked me into gear. Not only did I quit drinking coffee. I was waking up on time and could sit through a class without sleeping. I still take this stuff and it keeps me dialed in. Let me know if you want some more info. Email me at Drewster_80487@yahoo.com
