Very good observation. That's what happens when you read the Bible and find the truth according to God. Now, it is up to you--will you accept God's word or reject it for the trinity teaching which is man's word. Your very life depends upon your answer. God loves you and he wants you to make the decision that leads to life. Find God's people today.

If you read the entire passage you will see in verse 9 "But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone." Notice the words "for a little while" this shows that Jesus Christ took on an additional form of being which was "human" so that He could die for our sins.
God cannot die, that is why he came in the form of a man--to die.
He is the God-man.

Jesus was "lower" than Angels, in the sense, that His death and suffering in the flesh was something Angels had never experienced. He also chose to become Earthbound in the flesh, while Angels were not limited in that way. Jesus was the ultimate and perfect example of humility, love, forgiveness, and sacrifice. He came to teach and die for our sins, and He fulfilled that promise. Blessings, Miji

Flesh and Blood is made by God a little lower than the angels who are extremely powerful. One angel slew 185,000 men. Jesus said that He could call His angels.
John 18:36,37
My kingdom is not of this world, if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence:
Pilate therefore said unto Jesus, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, "Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears My voice."
Jesus claimed to be God and the High Priest accused Him of blasphemy which led to Jesus' crucifixion. Death was the penalty for blasphemy. Leviticus 24:16

actually, the scripture is this:
hebrews 9: 6-9
6 For in one place the Scriptures say,
“What are mere mortals that you should think about them, or a son of man that you should care for him?
Yet you made them only a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them authority over all things.”
Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority. What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.
it is actually put pretty plainly... that Jesus was mortal in the flesh of the word.. but angels are not mortal, they are only spiritual... and that is what is is about

Jesus isn't God, it wasn't even a consideration of the early church until about 1000 AD. Then the early church fathers had a big fight, and essentially killed off all the Christians who believed Jesus was a mortal man. It was wrong them, it is wrong now, and really what difference does it make? Descended from God, or actually God, a child of God or a part of God like we all are...

Jesus Christ is the Word (God) who became a man. He added human nature to His divine nature. He is presently both human and divine, and, therefore, has two natures. Yet, He is one person, not two. He is not part God and part man. He is presently wholly God and wholly man. (Phil. 2:5-11; Col. 2:9; 1 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 1:5-13; John 1:1-3,14)

Jesus combined both natures. He was both God and man. To be little lower than angels is to be a man.

That's easy...
The angels are the closest beings to God. they've never been tainted with the sins of the flesh.
Jesus was God's spirit wrapped in flesh. The Flesh is what made him a little lower than the angels.
