well if the guy says he loves you and not in love with you he dose not mean that he loves you when somone uses that they should be in love with you and not jsut saying because they are needing to and that is not right if he is not in love with you he should go find somone that he will be in love with ask him why he is not in love with u

that just means that he cares about you. Like your mom and dad say i love you to you. Right!! thats the kind of love your not in love with your parents but you love them (as in care about what happens to them)

People can love someone and not be "in love" with them. Sort of like you love family. Being "in love" is very passionate and alluring...something that is more of a deep desire...
