If you need to re-install your operating system, and can't find your boot disk, install UBUNTU. It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system.

If you need to retrieve your data from the windows partitition, resize it first with partition logic and free up a minimum of 5GB for the UBUNTU installation.

If you need further assistance, please contact me.

Unfortunately, it would have really helped us if you had told us the name of the .dll that is missing. You can replace them hassle free by downloading them off the internet. Search for your .dll on these sites:

EDIT: I'm almost sure that Tess is wrong, since missing a .dl can cause you to shutdown (because your computer is broken without it)

I think your computer has a virus or spyware and its causing you to reboot shortly after you log on. I would recommend you to start up in safe mode and run a virus scan and a spyware scan. I would also advise you to turn off system restore since viruses and spywares regenerate using that function.
