Despite the fact that each religion preaches and promises peace and love, the individual is zealous in their beliefs and is adamant that others believe what they do. What many people fail to understand is that you can passionate about what your faith while respecting what others believe. Your God is the one true God but if a Muslim crosses your path and tells you "I praise Allah and Allah only!" accept that and move on. The same if a Muslim crosses with a Buddhist or a Hindu...and so on and so forth...
The reality is as long as there are fervent believers in religion there will be intolerance of other religions other than their own.

Gen 3:15-
God told satan that there will be enmity between them and their followers. There are a lot of religions led by Satan-manipulated man. As the verse said, the battle will cease on the coming of the one who will deliver a death strike to the head of the serpent.
Jesus' 2nd coming will mark the end of the war.

Several reasons - some people are genuinely passionate enough, and not objective enough, about the subject matter to flame others who do not share their belief system.
Some know that what they will say will inflame the passionate, non-objective people, so they say inflammatory things for fun and to watch others get pissed off.
Others probably don't know what they're saying is inflammatory.
Others are posting satirical questions for the purpose of getting silly answers from like-minded individuals.
It's nothing new for people to be arguing about religion. :)

Because satan is alive and well on planet earth ( hmm, I think Hal Lindsay wrote this book). And don't forget the part where satan is trying to bring division among us, or where satan is trying to take as many people to hell (after the last judgment) as he can to join him in misery. And last but not least, because Religion is man-made with error and FAITH and a Relationship with Jesus Christ is God given, a gift which is inerrant and loving!

Because some people take laws which were meant for anicent, uncivilized people a little too seriously, and not just here, the reason y some people becom terrorists is because they take the instruction to convert all kafirs (non muslims) to islam, they think dying for this cause will take them to heaven, other coward ones hide behind their computers and carry on their religious crusades from there

It is cause people have misundertanding of god or people have not found god and are jeaulous of those who have. The christian god is not real god. God is eternal energy of the universe in which all life is made from. God is not a creator, time is illusion. People must keep open mind on god and universe...and not fall into evils like atheist or western religion like christain, musilm, or jew.
