That's a tough question. I believe there should be some equitte such as not allows your spouse to have visitor of opposite sex over unless you're there as well. Not go out all night then not coming home until next morning. And other things.

Yes lot of people will scream "CONTROLLING!" but why make your spouse or do something that make them uncomfort or suspicous? That's like as store a firework in open crate by fireplace when you can easily place them in garage where it's safer.

So far none of my former girlfriends would even say I'm controlling in any forms unless it's about safety such as not walk out at night by herself or get in car with stranger which is common sense.

No, if you feel like you can't trust the person you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with then you're wasting your time. Trust is a big issue in a lot of failed relationships. This person is supposed to be your biggest support and your best friend, when there is no trust there you start to accuse and assume things that aren't true and then it all goes to hell. I don't see the point in having a relationship if you don't put your everything into it that way IF it fails you can walk away knowing you did everything you could. Trust is important.

It depends on the individual. Trust takes time to develop and figure out if that person is trustworthy to begin with. I used to be too trusting. Now I know that not everybody is trustworthy, even if you're married to them. But that's no reason to hold a grudge against everyone just because someone has been dishonest with you. There are degrees to it too. Don't be bitter over little white lies told to protect your feelings. But don't be naive either. If your spouse is constantly lying or lying about important matters, you need to try to resolve the issue with them, one way or another.

to much trusting is not good you should keep a lookout on what he is doing by sitting down and sharing your talks on what you did today. and with this you will know when he is lying or not and if he is find out why he lied.....

trust no one not even your self ( figure of speech)

If you can't trust them, you break the oneness, and that feeling just leads to separation, and eventually divorce.

You should trust your spouse.

It is only when something does not seem too right where you can suspect them.
