Jungle/Monkey Themed Room??

Question

Hi,
I want to redo my room with a jungle/monkey themed room. Here is the site that has the picture I would like my room to look like. Please help!! I cant find any banana furniture anywhere like in the picture!!

I found your room... It's the Extreme Makeover one?

On that show, they often make the more specialized furniture. I bet they made that dresser and maybe sewed the big giant banana by the bed. Maybe if you can sew or know someone who can, they could help you make a big giant banana. Otherwise, just get a lot of rope and stuffed monkeys. You can probably get fake bananas at a craft store to hang on the ropes.

Try painting a tree on the wall instead of having a huge one... and then you could even cut out leaves from paper or green plastic and stick them to it...

If you go to a carpet store and ask if they have a remnant of yellow carpeting, they can probably cut and bind it for you in the shape of a banana! make sure they bind it or it will fray. Or check out the third link below.

Don't know if that's the sort of thing you want... there is a lot of furniture made of woven banana leaves too...
