Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Non-believer's case:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's case:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

Help: (I'll be using past examples from America) If everyone has the same belief system (or if it's taboo to profess a different belief system), then you can assume that your school system works better because people will, for the majority, be ashamed of the same actions across the board.
This does not mean that teasing, bullying, racism, inequality, and intolerance do NOT happen, just that it was either pushed under the rug, or that the belief structure allowed the parents to "box the ears" or "give a sound beating" for the behavior. While this doesn't necessarily keep the person in line (they did find ways to HIDE the behavior), it did lessen the amount of the forementioned that you SAW in day-to-day life.

Hurt: By not acknowledging the difference in religious opinion, you are effectively saying that the other person "isn't good enough" or that you "are better than them". Many religions have a policy of either peace, tolerance, or "leave me alone and I'll leave YOU alone". But by putting kids of people who believe in the "help" school system with kids of the NEW America (one that follows the Constitution's freedom of religion, among other things), you see more violence because the latter are just trying to get along, but are still being bullied and teased and intolerated by the former. And the parents allow it to happen because "if everyone believed like we did, the world would be a better place".
This mistake, however, is what causes violence, because people are now refusing to be bullied into COVERING the former way of making things work. Instead of just letting it go, they uncover it, and expose it for the harm that it really HAS caused people.

Well i think that they did that because there are so many different religions that they didn't want to offend anyone by saying the wrong thing about god.

Also there are several families that don't have a specific belief in god for instance my mother always told me that you did not have to go to church or commit to a specific religion to be excepted by god.

And another thing that is crap that because they took god out of schools that evil shooting and etc took its place those happened way before that even happened and just cause you talk about god in school doesn't mean that the person who would commit the shooting would agree with what you said and change their mind about the shooting since when were shootings about god they are most commonly the person that got pushed to far etc.

My personal experience of it is not so much that it either hurts or helps schools but that it hurts individual students that do not adhere to the prevailing religion being taught.

I have very clear memories from my childhood public school experience of Jewish children being pulled from "religion class" because Christianity was being taught. This put the spotlight on those children, where they had to explain their actions to other students. They were ostracized as a result.

As no one can agree on what type or style of prayer will be acceptable to all religious faiths - as is evidenced on this board each and every day - how is it possible to create a welcoming school environment where all students can participate in communal prayer? It's impossible, so religion is best left to individual families and their members. Bringing it into a public forum, particularly where children are involved, will only isolate those who for their personal religious or non religious reasons are unable to participate with the group.

Er.

"God" has emphatically NOT been taken out of public schools.

The Pledge still has "under God" in it - it's recited by school kids.

As for school prayer, here's what is actual and factual about school prayer, no matter what LIES have been promulgated by people with an agenda: Prayer is allowed under al most all circumstances.

The exceptions: School employees cannot lead the kids in prayer, in or out of the classroom; prayer cannot disrupt instructional time in the classroom....and that's about it.

See for yourself: Follow the link and page down to the part where it gives the specifics ("Applying the Governing Principles in Particular Contexts"):

God has not been taken out of our schools Christian students that go to public schools bring part of the body of Christ with them everyday I dont think teaching our students in public schools about God is a bad thing although in todays society they would probably demand a comapritive religoins class as a compromise which may not be a bad idea

Students are free to believe in god. They can even pray before their lunch if they wish. Christianity just can't be taught or promoted in school, and that's how it should be. Christianity, if you want to share that with your kids, should be taught at church and at home. If you want it taught at your child's school, enroll them in a Christian school.

As far as what does it hurt, not everyone believes in God or Christianity. And even those who do believe in the same god and bible have vast differenes in their beliefs. Theology has no place in a public school. What our kids need is a good reading and math program so we can keep up with the rest of the world.

Well, if you believe there is a God, and there may be consequences to your actions, you may act a little better. If you do not believe in God and that you did come from an animal-you may act like one.
Look around-how do most people act? How did they act 50 years ago? Whats the difference in how they act now as compared to then? Now, whats the difference as to what they believed?

when god was taken out of schools, the violence got worse and the respect suffered as well. and the more we lose God in the schools and this country the worse we will be. this Country was built on Godly principles. and without him we will not succeed at anything. read psalms 1: 1-4 when you walk in the way of the sinner nothing good will come, but walk in the way of the Lord and all that you do will prosper this includes are schools.

Beleive in God helps because i beleive one learns right and wrong and wants to please God and do the least love our fellow man so if one loves their neighbour i dont see them carrying a gun to school or having premarital sex then alternatively one can also be a self centered self loving person who will do all they can to gratify self what purpose would God serve in their life and if some1 makes them mad get a brick and hit them on the head just the person u dont want ur kid around God is impt we need him back
