Kiwi: From what I've seen on the news, those church officials have "accepted" a lot of kids.

I think you need to get your mind out of the gutter. This is an artists rendition, no one was there taking a still portrait of Jesus in his robes with kids in modern attire, come on !!! I am sorry to say that some one needs to grab a brain on this one. The Catholic church seems to have a problem, not Jesus.

Don't lump Jesus with the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church has a lot of explaining to do.

As Jesus said "Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?' And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness" Matt. 7:22 & 23

I don't click links

the catholic church has a lot to explain... like why do they have the right to make up rules and fees and laws when Jesus Himself came to abolish the Law and set up a new covenant to replace the old.. and in Him, we need no more manmade rules of enslavement

The first picture depicts Jesus comforting a child who is crying.

The second picture depicts a priest blessing a boy.

It's just people's sick, twisted minds that make them look like something else.

You take two artist's renditions of holy Jesus and church men accepting repentant and reverent persons., and you think this needs explanation?

What do you think these pictures represent? I see people being held and comforted. If you think differently, that's your loss.

What does this picture show? Is this perhaps why some people get away with all the trumped up abuse charges? This is an innocent picture and your wicked mind is seeing something else.

In a world like this...it's not hard to have those certain thoughts going through our minds! Yes, they look a bit inappropriate, but hey...at least think what other meanings it has!

I will not lower myself to see the pictures. You will have a lot of explaining to do on judgement day.
