I used to fix my daughters hair in ringlets for special occasions and what I found worked the best was to use those pink sponge rollers, but it does take a long time. I would sit my daughter on the floor in front of the TV and then I would roll her hair. You'll need to do this the afternoon before the event for the curl to hold.

1. Wash your daughters hair and allow it to dry a little (but not completely). If your daughters hair is curl resistant (extremely straight) you can use a little mousse on the hair; mousse will also help hold the ends together making it easier to roll.

2. Starting at the top, take a small section of hair and roll it in the direction of her face (forward). .

3. After you have her hair rolled, put a hair net around her head, this will help hold the curlers together (you can also tie a scarf around her head if you don't have or can't find a hair net)

4. Then have your daughter sleep with the curls in.

5. The next morning, carefully unroll the hair so that the curls stay in tact.

6. After you have her hair fixed with bows or whatever, spray her hair with hairspray and it will last all day.

When you first unroll it, it'll will probably look way too tight and maybe a little crazy; but don't panic, it will relax throughout the day and look adorable!

The traditional way works fab,my nanna used to do it for me.Get some old material and cut it into really long inch wide stips.
Get the child to hold the top of the strip on her head and get a piece of hair and wrap it round the material intil you get to the bottom. Then wind the material back up the hair until it meets the piece your girl is holding and tie the 2 ends together.
Works best if left in over night.
I hope this helps, its easier done than written down,

When I was a child, my aunt cut up rags 2 inches x 24 inches. You hold it in half and place it strategically at the crown of your head with a clump of hair. Next, start wrapping the cloth in circles and tie at the end. You won't believe how this comes out. Your daughters curls will last for over a week. Try it, it works.

While your daughter hair is still wet, take a brush, comb it and stop in the middle, then start twirling it. Hold it for a ouple of seconds, then slowly tap the brush while unraveling to get hair off easier. Perfect ringlets!!!

Hi, rag roll damp hair ( wrap it up with slim peices of fabric)and leave it over night blown dry it in the morning to make sure it is totally dry them undo and tease through whith ur fingers and voila it will look great,

make sure u use smoke mousse to help the hair hold the style and spritz it with hair spray when its out of the roll, Make sure the rag rolling is done randomly as it creates a better effect.

I have the most stubborn hair in the world and this has always worked for me:

All you need is- a drinking straw(or something similar) and a LOT of hair spray

1. wash/dry her hair

2. find something long a skinny in the shape of a drinking straw (chop sticks?)

3. wrap her hair around the drinking straw...or whatever else

4. Spray away!

If this doesn't work I'm sorry but I really can't help

easy effective pretty curls wet her hair allover or tell her to have a shower, do two plits in her hair (french plaits are better) tell her to sleep on it and the next morning take the plaits out without brushing it (itl go frizzy if u brush it) the result is amazing! x
