Why do you sin? Why does anyone sin? Why are you just including Christians in you question? Christian fall to temptation just as non-Christians do. That's why they sin. Now I don't know about the every hour thing but that is why they sin.

You don't talk about the person(s) that brought you to this conclusion. We are all sinners... but only saved by HIS GRACE & MERCY. I realize there are many people in this world who profess to be things they aren't, including Christians. It is harder to understand someone who professes to be a Christian and their lifestyle doesn't follow the profession, or that they would try to give these areas of struggle over to the Lord.
Being a Christian and walking the Christian life are completely separate. When we truly give our lives to the Lord, we are turning away from our sinful life. For many, it is hard to give up the addictions this world has to offer... the biggest one being pride!
While I myself know some who claim to follow the Lord, their behavior leads me to believe otherwise. Some fall away because they have not learned how to take up their cross and follow Jesus. Yet, there is another shoe on the other foot, where I see people who love the Lord and you can see it in their lives, by what they do and say. They "Walk the Walk & Talk the Talk". I also believe you know of other Christians who DON'T do the things you talk about. If you don't, then you haven't looked too far.
While I can talk at length about this topic, let the Lord inspire YOU to go to the bible and read for yourself Matthew 13:10-24. There you will find your answer.
God Bless

The same reason you sin every hour. We are human.
The only difference between you and I is that I repent and receive forgiveness for my sins. Why haven't you asked for forgiveness?
*Another thing... I don't lie or misinterpret the bible, nor many other of those examples you used.

Christians aren't perfect. Only God is. Most Christians that you meet in America today merely call themselves Christians 'cause it's the socially acceptable thing to do, but then they go out and live lives in opposition to God. The people who live worthy of their calling, are the people who not only say they're Christians, but also act on their faith by demonstrating God's holiness and love to all those around.

well I don't know what Christians you are around but I know that I do not sin every hour, but if a christian does, then he or she needs to admit to God what they have done, ask for forgiveness and try not to do that paticular thing again. No Christian is perfect, we all sin, every day in fact. The important thing is that you try to do your best by God, live his word, and most important have him in your heart and thoughts at all times. A Chrsitian is not immune to sin, the difference is that we have accepted Jesus as our savior and try our best.

Jessica, Christians are sinners just the same as every human. Those things you mentioned...they are not just done by Christians and being Christian does not mean they will not do them. Learning not to treat others that way is something Christians should do...but also others as well. For most, its not religion that stops that from happening...its growing up.

Muslims here have admitted that even if we show them how many more muslims die in natural disasters than nonmuslims, and even if we show them the truth from secular history about the shames in islam and muhammad, and even if we show them the quotes and verses from the bible to tell them that it denounces muhammad, and even if we say that muhammad is a pedophile for having sex with a 9 year old infant girl, THEY WILL NOT BE SHAKEN FROM ISLAM!
OKAY, FINE... point taken okay?
My question is. Then what does that make you (muslim)?
Regular Humans or a Lunatics?
Please do not think this is an insulting question but realise that this question is a result of many of the answers and admissions you muslims have provided here. I can link you up with many of them (eg. Leah & Perception etc etc etc).

Hi, Your right Christians do sin, but that's becaue we are imperfect people just like everyone else.
We were full of sin, and we had a debt we couldnt pay and on our way to Hell. God knew this, and sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to pay our Debt that we couldn't.
I could have never made it to heaven on my own, noone could, I just accepted the free gift of salvation.
I'm a sinner, i'm just saved by Grace.
This Gift is offered to all.

Probably for the same reason you do. We are all sinners. Have your sins been forgiven? Have you repented? Have you turned from sin? Just a few questions you might like to ask yourself

Same reason why everyone sins every hour.
Although I don't do any of those things anymore, I did call a lady a b---h under my breath this morning, and I already apologized to God and asked forgiveness.
