I love the quote! Instead of focusing ones time on something that might work, and fail. Make things easy on the person your treating, and get to know them and love them. They are going through a really tough time, they need support and caring. Its proven that have the battle is based on the person thinking they can make it!

It means just what it says ... when all you fight is a disease, you might win and you might lose. But if you treat a person, you will always win. The person might not get over the disease, but you will have help this person.

Anymore homework?

well i think it applies to doctors.........if they treat the patient with thier mind focussed only on the disease and its effects alone they might succeded or lose........but if they treat the patient with care n concern.with a true aim of making that person completely recover they might definitely succeed

hence love the person u treat n not merely look @ the disease is wat the quote means

i know its quite absurd but dats my perception
