I have a 95' 850 Volvo.
Recently, we had a really cold day and finally got the car started. (No block heater) Since that day, the car has been shaking on idle, even when the brakes are on. It seems worse when I put on the rear defroster as well as operate the power windows. The engine is running fine however, no noises or anything. It seems much worse when the car is cold, but continues to shake when the engine is at a normal temp. (Only on idle)
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

First take it to a garage to check it because you may of damaged an engine mount or a belt, and get a block heater installed it's worth the hundred or so bucks. Get 5w-30 oil for it year round and check all your fluids as well as anti-freeze strength.

hopefully a vacuum hose has come off and you have a leak .
i hope you did not either it down trying to start it. while most brands of starting either are mixed down to minimize the possibility of damage. if it was overloaded there still could be internal damage. a compression test will tell the story. if damage has occurred a leak-down test will tell you specifically what the damage is. [ i will bet my next 3 lunches that it is a vacuum leak, or fouled spark plug though] NOTE; compression pressures should be within 10% of each other and leakdown rate should not exceed 20-25% on a well cared for engine
