how to stop rooster from crowing

I know where you're coming from. Honestly. You can't stop them, but you can slow them down.
Build a pen on the west side of your house or barn so that it's in the dark longest in the morning. And LOCK him in at night, away from the hens.

Dude, Why would you want to stop the bird from doing what comes natural. What if someone wanted to stop you from doing something that comes natural to you? In order for there to be harmony in the universe, everything has its' place. Birds must sing, roosters must crow, dogs bark, and people complain. All of this is natural. I think the next time you hear the rooster crow just know that your memories of this years from now will refresh your sense of where you were during that time and what your frame of mind was and how much you may or may not have changed your tolerance of such a natural act.

Roosters are going to crow. It's what they do. Horses will neigh, cows will moo. Don't keep a rooster if you can't handle the occasional crow. If you live in the country and it's not your rooster, there still isn't a whole lot you can do about that. If you are living in a more suburban setting then in many places it's illegal to keep farm animals.. talk to your neighbour. Or, suck it up.

Do you live in the two floor house with the red roof? Roosters are a big problem in Boracay, especially near the Jetty port in tambisaan beach. It's impossible to keep them from crowing and the best you can do is ignore them. Either that, or get in the habit of waking up at 4:30 a.m.
