Hi, I am a 33 yr old man, and I've had "rashes" on my fingers for a few years... they come and go, but always come back. They form only on the backs of both my forefingers and my middle fingers, and look like they're filled with a clear liquid... they are about the size of the head of a pin, and are the same color as my skin.
The only reason I worry about them, is because I work with my hands, and they tear open, leaving gross looking sores on my fingers. I have never had them spread to any other part of my body, or to the other fingers, so I don't think its contagious.
Any clues, ideas, thoughts? I'm pretty much in the dark on these kind of issues.

It is called Dyshidrotic exzema. I have it too and have for years. It can effect your hands and wrists or ankles and feet. I recently got it on my ankles when that has never happened before. It is not contagious but their is no cure. The above website should tell you all about it.

II totally know what you're going through. 've had these little blisters on my hands since I can remember. Never got worse until this past September and now they itch like crazy. I went to a clinic and they told me that it is scabies and gave me some meds, but it didn't help. It has spread all over my body. Went back to the clinic and they told me to use anti-lice shampoo and lotion to get rid of it. I didn't take that advice since I knew it wasn't lice. It is getting better, but still have some sores left. Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but at least you know you're not alone out there with this same "condition".

Its called eczema it comes from the soap you are using and sometimes metals that you handle. Look for a soap that is hypo allergenic I like the stuff made by Seventh Generation but there are similar soaps on the market.
There is OTC creams and lotions that will help, you might also talked to you doctor if it doesn't clear up.
Eczema comes and goes its not life threatening or contagious.
You can go to WebMD for more information.

No, you can't get STDs from masturbating. If you haven't done anything sexual or come into contact with someone or something that was used in sex, then you're clear. It could be a number of other things. The best thing you can do is discuss it with your doctor. Could just be an infection, or even actually just a pimple!

Although I am sure that the other answerers are pretty bright people, personally I would recommend that you go see an actual doctor who can actually look at your condition and give you a qualified diagnosis.

Good luck.
