I got caught having sex with my secretary this morning and now that want to fire both of us. Can they do that ? I live in America after all. If they do fire me does anyone have a good excuse I use to tell my wife as to why I got fired ???

Yes you will be fired. No ? there. You are old enough to know better not to do that in your office. Your job is cooked right now. Tell your wife the truth. She will find out one day or maybe catch you in the act with someone else later.

Relax, calm down is not the end of the world. If you get fire just find a new job, just tell your wife you made a huge mistake or told a co-worker to f-off and that's why they fire you. Now if she knows someone there of you boss is thinking about calling her u r fudge. Hope you learn your lesson and dont do it again.

YEAH they can fire u because thats not a good work enviornment if ur having sex with the ladi.....

A good excuse? ok, let's see...how about this...honey, although I love you dearly, I have absolutely NO self control and due to my lack of self respect and respect for you and our marriage, I have lost my job....and I'll sign whatever I need to in order to allow you to get on with your life and have someone to treat you decently, with respect and above all...I am sorry for what I've done. You're better off without me! Oh wait, you said excuse, you didn't say truth, did you?? And YES they can fire both of you...my God, do you think they can't? Yes, it's America but there are also appropriate ways to act and it's obvious you're not aware of them! My guess is that you will come up with something ignorant to tell her, in hopes that she'll believe you. Might I recommend a marriage counselor...that is, if you're genuinely sorry for what you've done and have no intent to do so ever again. If you plan to continue to cheat on her then you're better off to end it. It's hardly fair to someone to be treated in that manner.

We'll depends on your company rules, most likely yes if it was during work hours and/or at work. You already cheated and lied to your wife, so I don't believe there was ever a relationship there. Tell her the truth, she deserves it, don't fight with her, you legally already lost everything in the divorce. Go on with your life, and give her life back. "It will all be justified at the end" -- I forgot who said it, it was in a song.

You know I cant even write into words the kind of person you are for cheating on your wife...you deserve to get fired, and if you wife is a smart woman she'll leave your butt because God knows she deserves better than you!!!!!!!!!!!!

the company can, if you have connections maybe you can be suspended then the secretary will be assigned to another division (to good to be true)
try telling your wife that you have to find a better job coz youre tired of the management pickin on you..

Yeah tell her you were cheating on her w/ur secretary and YES they can fire you. Thats misconduct and breaks some serious sexual harrassment laws whether it was consensual or not.
