Graduating early does have good things about it. For one, you get out of school, and are done with it. But do you really want to graduate early and miss out on your senior year? Being a senior is the best part of high school, and I don't think you should miss out. Senior prom, you won't get to go to. Also, you miss out on hanging out with all of your friends if you graduate early and go to college or get a job. However, if you go straight to college you will be done with that earlier too and get out into the world and become an adult. But do you really want to become an adult that fast?

I graduated early. I didn't do the Senior Prom.. which ended up being ok because my school had a Junior Prom too. It was hard to stay in contact with my high school friends because they had their life back at home, and I had my life at college out of state. I learned alot about myself when I had to go off by myself. When I compare myself to my high school friends that I still talk to I think I'm a better person. I know how to manage money and go into a situation that I know nothing about. Also.. I have friends all over the country that I go see while the majority of my high school friends just have friends from home. Also... you might check with you state on the scholarship thing. I got a 1,000 scholarship for graduating early.

If I had to do it over again I think financially it would have been better to not graduate early. Depending on how smart you are that could get you alot of extra scholarships; for example, I took my ACT my junior year, and while I scored well (like a 28 I think?) I could have done better if I had one more year. Where I ended up going to school (OU).. I think they offered like full rides if you made a 30 or higher. That would have been a possibility if I stayed an extra year in high school. Also.. I could have taken a ton of AP classes for college credit. If you get enough of these (or clep-out of enough) then when you enter college you will go in as a sophomore.. so you could save a year anyways. Plus, the AP test is a hell of a lot cheaper than 3 credit hours at college.

Hope that helps.

that's achievable. i've got seen a lot of human beings graduate early. yet i could desire to warn, online instructions can get problematical. i might communicate on your guidance so which you may desire to get set up for it and to be sure if that's what you extremely need. you additionally can twin join at a close-by community college your junior and senior twelve months to get a bounce initiate on college instructions rather of having out of highschool so rapid. twin enrollement is loose college basically.

Disadvantages: You miss the activities that go along with your senior year (like prom.)
You miss out on some scholarship opportunities.

Advantages: You get out of there sooner, if you know what you want to do collegewise or jobwise, you won't have to wait another year.
