The Word of God. That's all the doctrine we need to know. The Word of God is sound doctrine, all that other junk is man-made.

The doctrine of non-violence is the closest to the teachings of Jesus. Jeus taught that the two most important commandment were to love God and to love one's neighbor. This doctrine worked for Ghandi. It worked for Martin Luther King Jr. and it works for the Amish.

I assume you mean which Christian denomination is closest to the teaching's of Jesus? You might check out the gospel according to St. Thomas (i.e., Doubting Thomas). This gospel was supposedly written by Thomas during the Last Supper and is supposed to be the closest record we have to the actual words of Jesus Christ. The other gospels were all written some 200-300 years after Christ had ascended into heaven.

The doctrine that identifies Him as Messiah, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, God come in the Flesh, the only Way to the Father, the Source of everlasting Life, the holders of the keys of death and hell, and the Eternal Alpha and Omega.
If any doctrine can pass that test, it's looking pretty good.
