Cooee Elizabeth J!
Tylenol is Acetemenophin (a pain and sleep reliever) which is processed by the liver. When too much is taken the normal liver processing system becomes overwhelmed and the liver uses a 2nd processing system. this 2nd system, unfortunately turns the Acetemenophin into a very toxic substance that severely damages the liver.

SYMPTOMS: Initially nausea/vomiting/sweating/then no other side effects for 24hours. At 24-28 hours liver damage occurs which can lead to right upper quadrant abdominal pain, jaundice, confusion, coma, kidney failure and death.

CAUSES: Acetemenophin - overdose; taken with other drugs that are contraindicative (don't work well together).
Hope you are cool Elizabeth J! Safe journey...Joybelle

Are you looking forward to being on dialisis when you are older?
Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

I have taken tons of tylenol over the past ten years and I am fine.
I took at least 7500 a day for the past five years.
I believe that myth about tylenol is so they can combine tylenol with narcotics to scare people into not taking too much of the narcotic being afraid of the tylenol.
Because of the nature of narcotics, in tablet form, a person would keep taking it all day and all night, so their fear of too much tylenol limits their usage.

A large enough tylenol will cause liver failure, and that'll kill ya for sure. You may well have severe stomach cramps too. If you're all that curious, why don't you go to the library and borrow a copy of the Physician's Desk Reference - it'll tell ya all you need to know about prescription and non-prescription medications.

as a teen i tried to kill myself with Tylenol i took over 20 at one time. thank god it did not work. as others have stated the biggest concern the doctors had was my liver then was my mental state.

IF you are in pain you can alternate Tylenol with ibuprofen every 2 hours. this helps prevent over doing it with each

of course, the "bunch" is kind of ambiguous. Depending on your body size, weight, etc. the bunch of tylenol COULD kill you. Generally, if you just take over the amount, it'll just make you feel very painful for a while.

If you took a bunch of tylenol you probaly would die. Tylenol is no good for the liver, and that is the organ it would damage. And you only have one, so yes it would kill you.

Tylenol would effect your liver not your stomach that is why people who can't take asprin can take tylenol. I know of a child who they though OD on liquid tylenol and they were taking blood gasses and stuff to find out if it effected his liver but he was fine.

It would actually do both. As your liver is being destroyed, your stomach would become extremely painful. After three days of agony, you would die.
