pickles dont grow on trees. they are cucumbers placed in vinegar for a period of time. like dried grapes are raisins.

Pickles are actually made from cucumbers through what is actually called a "pickling" process. Cucumbers are, of course, grown in the ground, and, I believe, grow to be, actually, a bush (don't quote me on that though). The "pickling" process is done with a pressure cooker and can probably be found on the internet searching "pickling process". Hope that helps.

Pickles are not grown they are made out of cucumbers. Cucumbers grow on plants in the ground [The actual plant is normally no taller then a few inches].
