Absolutely millions! I deal with stud farms and sales agencies and the turnover at a good sale can be 20million+.
Let's put this in perspective: PIVOTAL (the most expensive stallion in the UK) stands at a fee of £85,000 per mare. Let's assume he will cover 140 mares, of which 40 will belong to his owner, so he will gain an income from 100 mares. He wont get all of them in foal, so not all will pay the fee, lets assume he gets 80 of those 100 mares in foal that = an annual income of £6.8 million from just one horse!
When you factor in racecourse turnover, riding schools, competitions, etc you are talking about an astronomical sum of money.

Do you mean livestock or deadstock?
I should think it would be impossible to put a value on it because it covers such a large area of equestrian activities.

Millions!! untold amout of industry comes from all aspects of the equestrian world from the tack to the feed,staff, farriers, vets, competitions, and of course the horses themselves..........who knows what the price is, i doubt anyone does.
