For those that don't know, Ginger Ale is NOT a soft drink and does NOT have caffiene. Carbonation is not good for you and does nothing to aid an upset stomach. Ginger, yes actual ginger, helps to soothe an upset stomach. Most ginger ale has only a very smal amount of ginger and is most effective at soothing your stomach if you remove the carbonation.

Ginger ale is a close second to Dr. Pepper. Nothing like prune juice taste in a carbonated form!
BTW... did u know u can make your own Ginger ale? Old bar trick... coke & seven up. Adjust the mix to taste and most people won't notice the difference....
