I have had indoor cats for basically my entire life. I have gone through almost every type of litterbox filler that you can think of. For the past six months or so, I have been using what I consider to be the best filler to date. Tidy Cats Scoop "Small Spaces" litter from Purina. This litter is fantastic! It has a citrus scent that really seems to neutralize the smell. The citrus scent is not overbearing at all, it's actually a very pleasant smell. As far as dust goes, I haven't even noticed the dust since I started using it, maybe only when you fill the box, but even then, it's barely noticeable. It clumps good too! You should be able to purchase this litter at any local grocery store...it's the one with the orange top. Try it once and I doubt you'll turn back...trust me on this one.

I have two different things that I like. I like Tidy Cats Scoop for multiple cats. The dust and tracking isn't too bad and it does clump well and control odor well, and I used the plastic bin as a "litter locker". Making it easy to keep the litter box sanitary. The other thing isn't actually a litter but works great. At a feed store or TSC you can get Dumor's Egg laying crumble chicken feed. It's $10 for 50 lbs, which is very cheap. It clumps well, controls odor well, it doesn't contain anything toxic, dust and tracking is minimal. Only pit fall is you have to haul a 50 lb bag, and people might look at you funny for carrying chicken feed into your house. But it works great, a lot like the "World's Best" cat litter that is sold for top dollar in pet stores.

ALot of products can help with dusting, but I discovered the perfect product for litter box odors that I've used for years and know dozens of other people that use it. It is a product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a little purple cube with an incredible activated carbon filter inside that is really, really, great. It works so much better than baking soda and all those sprays and fragrances that just cover up smells and doesn't get rid of them. Also, alot of sprays have warning statements about being eye irritant and gels that warn about keep away from pets. WIth Fridge-IT, The carbon literally absorbs and eliminates the odors and works for a long time. Just clip one or two on the litter box. I use this product everywhere including car, storage, closets, my fridge and also under sinks, near trash and have friends that also use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good. I really recommend it. You can buy it in kitchen gadget sections in stores like walmart and linens and things. I also think camping world sells it. Definitely worth trying.

Clumping is pretty good. No smell and I wear a mask when I change or top up. Wait for a while before letting your cat use the litter box. Good luck

I have been using Arm & Hammer for my cats & I absolutely love it. It clumps extremely well & also does not spread dust everywhere. Another thing that I have noticed, is that it works amazingly well for hiding odor too. I've been sampling different cat litters for awhile & I think this is hands down the best one.

It's has a nice scent, clumps very well and I've found it to be much less dusty than the other litters we've tried.
