My favorite dessert is the Sahara. It sounds so exotic!

Geez, we can only pick ONE?!?!!! I'm a dessertarian.
Pecan pie is very good if you get it in the South or if it's made by someone from the South, but here in Motown it's hard to find a good pecan pie. The big desserts here are Puczkis for Mardi Gras (pronounced POONCH-kees) which are Polish pastries that are very much like jelly doughnuts, and hot fudge sundaes with Stroh's ice cream and Sanders hot fudge. But if I had to list a favorite dessert I guess it would be red velvet cake, followed closely by mud pie.

Pecan Pie is great, but I only eat the center, never the pie crust. I also love Strawberry Cheesecake.

I vote for pecan pie.
They carry them in my super market, but I only buy one when there is a 1/2 available, my diet.
Actually I can make a better one but it takes work and the one in the market is cheaper.($2.50)
My mother used to order one in a restaurant every chance she got, then she would have to come home and make a better one.

My favorate pie is pumpkin. I bake at least five pumpkin pies a month. UMMM love em. My hubby love pumpkin pie too, but his real favorate one is apple. So I'm always baking one or the other.

It changes often but right now it's:
Vanilla Ice Cream
Chocolate Syrup
Bananas
and... (this is KEY)
an almost burnt Fudge Sundae Pop Tart on top... and if you really want to go out put whipped cream on it.
I am telling you it's to die for.
