i was seeing this guy who's on parole. he has more than a criminal record that started when he was only 15. He is now 33. I thought he had changed his life around for the better. I was wrong! In october of 2006 he stole my car, my money, got physical by spitting in my face while choking me, banging my head up against the wall and so on...I was left out in the middle of the boonies, at night, as he drove off in my 2005 Chevy COBALT I received from my parents only 16 months prior. He then drove to my house, kicked the door down, took two gallons of paint I had stored and emptied them in my bedroom ruining EVERYTHING...curtains, bedspread, VCR, sleigh bed, carpet, dressers, clothes, t.v.,computer, printer, & 100 cd's. I called the the sheriff's station where this guys brother-in-law is a sheriff (he's been a cop for around 25 years) and coincidentally the deputy who answered my call. NO ONE ever showed up to make a report! The following day this same sheriff came to my house off dutt

Don't tell us, go to the local papers and tell them. Tell the States Attorney and the State Police. Call your States Attorney generals office also. Make all the noise you can to anyone who will listen, but most of all,STOP HANGING AROUND WITH CRIMINALS!

Your question isn't finished, you can add details if you have run out of room.

Your vehicle has been missing since Oct. 2006 and you are wondering about complaining now?
If your story at face value is true, you need to contact your local civilian police oversight committee. Most provinces/states have a complaint process in place in regards to police officers.
I police in a smaller community and I do get calls sometimes with people that I know personally. Luckily there are enough officers in our service so that I can tell the dispatcher about a possible conflict of interest and they send someone else.

Contact the state police or the FBI, because at the the county level (much less the city level) you will get no where., These things do happen and many cops in a higher jurisdiction love to take down these crooked cops who do not do their job for the sake of family or friends and look the other way. Good Luck,,,

get in touch with your state attorneys office and file a complaint there. the last place you want to file is with the sheriff dept. and I would even be leary about going to your D.A. because of the close working relationship between the two agencys. I may be paranoid but better paranoid then having your life turned into one constant police harrasment episode. all good advice but I just thought of something easier get a lawyer.

you may often initiate with the workplace of professional criteria in the sheriff's workplace. i anticipate this branch isn't national authorized by employing CALEA! regardless of the very shown fact that, submitting with the sheriff's workplace itself, ought to hold retaliation or harassment in spite of if it truly is as lawless as you reported. i might seem to the state point. In my state we've SLED- State regulation Enforcement branch, that's named in for any officer in touch taking photographs, allegations approximately an workplace or officer, any case sent to them the place there possibly a conflict of interest. you won't desire a branch investigating their own officer, different than an inner affairs learn by employing the dep. which generally would not bring about criminal quotes. criminal quotes are generally extra by employing a state regulation enforcement branch. In my state, the county is in charge for animal administration of small animals falls below the county's public safety branch. it truly is truly useful to ascertain the state regulations on your state for that. For the fund elevating purposes, i might verify with your State Ethics cost. All applicants and committees ought to report a economic disclosure with the state, which shows the place the contributions come from the two economic and inkind and who they pay all cost to for any political campaigns.
