You are indeed lucky to have thought about it, and luckier to have achieved it. With this act, you have started the real spiritual journey, for you will be able to see yourself from the image of God's point of view, as against the ordinary mortal or human point of view.

More experiences along these lines will make you realize that there is life beyond the physical body, making you overcome the fear of death, a great milestone in the spiritual quest. The totality of these experiences will make you worry less, make you a more loving person and energize you as you face life's spiritual purpose.

I can only congratulate you.

I did, the first time I took Fenrir up on a promise he gave me in a near death experience and he made it clear I was welcome to return to him again.

Long story short, I was in quite a bit of (willing) pain, and I remember dropping to my knees with my arms held out to the side and then I remember looking down on myself and the agony and bliss in my face. Then I found myself back in the same cave I saw in my near death experience.

It's all a neurological affect though, there's nothing supernatural or miraculous about it. Still is a profound experience but nothing mystical.
