Moses: The character who wrote the first books of the Bible.

He was he the only person that went to God's crib and saw God's finger.

Everybody in the whole village went to God home, but they had to wait on the doorstep while Moses went in to visit....

Why?

Is God shy?

Exodus 19: 17And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

20The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. 21Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

they did for a bit, but they were to afraid to hear more.

18 When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die."

20 Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning."

21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was.

All claims made by men, who knows? Moses could have very well experienced a close encounter of the 3rd kind, so to speak, or perhaps he was suffering from dehydration, thus he hallucinated the encounter? God only knows:)
