I'm sorry the thought of hearing from God bothers you - but hey, it bothered Moses at first too! God doesn't appear to people in burning bushes with an audible voice anymore, but He speaks to me through His word, through music, through sermons, and even through other people. I talk to Him EVERY day, several times a day, and when I get a wrong thought in my head, I even get a reprimand from Him! The closer you draw to God, the closer He draws to you. You can run from Him if you want to, but if He has chosen you for something, you will eventually end up right where HE wants you to be, even if it means you run for years until you end up there!

What people are saying is they talk to God through prayers eg ask him for forgiveness and so on. The only humans that might have had the most or known 100% God really existed where the Messengers like Mosses (Musa), Jesus (Yesha) ,Muhammad (just to name afew) most of the messengers however got there revelation from the angel Gabrial (or as christians call it Holy spirit) and only one Messenger could actually communiacte as if God was right there.

For me that is comparable to what all human beings call your intestine feeling. what number circumstances has a theory popped into your head, like while your utilising and your intestine tells you to decelerate. Then around the subsequent corner sits a cop? this way of factor occurs to me all the time. Or i will ask God a question and in certainty, I basically think of it (God is ordinary with of what we are thinking) and bam, into my head comes the respond. I do have self assurance that one should be religious to unquestionably pay attention God, yet i know all human beings have had intestine emotions a lot in our existence.

Well, at least questioner is curious. God is not a movie...I've prayed alone and with other people and no God did not present Himself as a voice coming out of the ceiling. It's a much bigger picture than that...John 14:6

if someone tells you they are talking to God, stay clear of that person because they are delusional and a bit narcissistic. God is in their head. Then ask them which God are they talking to and how are they sure?

They mean they feel motivated to do certain things as if a divine hand is guiding them- in reality they just have a vivid imagination.

God can do as He chooses.
He can speak through the Holy Spirit.
He can speak through His Word.
He can speak to an individual as well.
Though I doubt you could overhear it, again it's up to Him isn't it?

God do not talk to men in audible voice. The weak flesh of men cannot endure the glory of God that is why no one can see or hear Him. "Exo 33:20 But it is not possible for you to see my face, for no man may see me and still go on living".
No human has ever heard the audible voice of God. "Joh 5:37 Moreover, the Father who sent me has himself testified on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his appearance,".
What the first servant heard were actually angels. "Act 7:38 This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai and with our ancestors. He received living truths to give to us,"
God, remember, has spoken and is speaking in different manners and media as what Heb 1:1-2 says"Heb 1:1 God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,
Heb 1:2 hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;" He instrumented angels during the early times.
In our time, those who say that they have heard the audible word of God are liars. God speaks to His people but there is a biblical manner with which such is accomplished. According to Heb 1:2, He hath spoken at the end of these days through His Son.
Christ is the medium with whom God speaks with us in these last days. Christ descended from the heavens and preached the words of the Father "John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak".
Before he ascended to heaven, He preached his words to the apostles and commanded them to teach all nations everything whatsoever He has commanded them. "Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
The apostles know that they will die. God wills his words to be preserved and so the apostles wrote what they have seen and heard from Christ "1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1Jo 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full". As a proof that what they wrote are from Christ:"1Co 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord".
What I am trying to point is that, God speaks to us now through the scriptures and not by audible voice. In fact, God calls through the gospel "2Th 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ"
God talks to us by His words in the bible.
God sent His Son to preach his will. The son taught the apostles. The apostles, knowing that they will die, wrote the things they heard from Christ. We have the copy of what they have written. All we have to do in these last days is to read and listen: "Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
