Ok this is totally weird...I was driving home from work one sunny afternoon & saw this guy in his "work truck" staring at me while stopped at a lightt..I didnt think anything of it so the next day, there he is AGAIN at the same light...staring at me...as the light turned green, he got behind me & wrote down my license plate number...I thought to myself..I'll fix him I 'll take down his truck number & report him...by this time I thought he was a total weirdo...the 3rd day I see him again (at the same light) & he says: "Hi (my name)" I thought..what the heck? As I was turning to go home I pulled over & opened my passenger window just a little bit & he comes over & starts talking to me...I was all:"How do you know my name?" He was all: "I have connections"...he asked me out but I told him I was going out of town & to call me when I got back...When I got back, thats all he did was call me! I made every excuse NOT to go out with him....Finally, I said yes....a month later I moved in with him & 2 years after that I married him....yes its true! & yes we are still married! The end

I met my man at work. We used to both work for a home building company. He was a construction superintendent and I scheduled the closings on the houses for his subdivision. We first started emailing more about personal stuff than work and he used to call me more than any of my other superintendents and I thought he liked me so, I told him by email that if he ever wanted to call me he could just say "hey, I think you're kinda cute can I have your number so I can ask you out some time? and I might give you my number" and he responded and said that exact thing to me. And we started dating. That was over a year ago and now we are talking about marriage and kids!

I didn't, however, it took me 3 days to get up the nerve to ask my Lil Sweety of over 13 happy years now to go to a movie with me after first meeting her while standing in line at the time clock at work...

I got asked out by my friend. He's had a crush on me for the longest time. He walks up to me with a rose in his hand and he says "Steph will you be my girlfriend? You would make me the happiest man in the world". No mind games no nothing.

If you want to be asked out by someone in particular, you can try by telling the person about something you would like to do. For example: Did you see that Saw III is coming out next Friday? Wow, I really would like to see this movie!...

He liked me for nearly two years, and asked me out several times. Each time I declined as nicely as I possibly could; he was a dear, dear friend, but I wasn't romantically attracted to him.
It was only when he gave up on trying to get me to like him that I actually did start to like him. But he was so used to me not liking him that he didn't see any attraction on my part, and various friends had to point out to him that maybe there was something there after all.
He finally asked me one night if I would consider "redefining" our current relationship. I think, in retrospect, that this was one of the cutest ways he could have asked---both of us love words and languages, and discuss them ad infinatum. "Redefining" was a perfect word. :)
Needless to say, I said yes.

Just happened to be at the right time, right place and right crowd. Friends dropped by for a friendly game, brought him along, was introduced, then chat, then realised both liked certain restaurant, then we went.

well, it was sort of a mind game, he kept showing me up with these girls we were friends at the time & i didn't know i liked him until then after he and i started writing love notes while he had a girl well i was COMPLETLY oblivious his girl found out & dumped his a** then he asked me & here I am
