A few points to share and with much love:

(i) The mistake you make is concentrating on religion - which is dead and is what Jesus came to abolish - he wants a interpersonal relationship with man/woman not religious piousness -

(ii)don`t try to serve God in your own way - you will fail - that is what is meant by `a little leven , levens the whole lump `- `dead flies causes the precious smelling ointment to have a stinking savour `

(iii) it is man`s behaviour that is causing wars not God-

(iv) the bible says heaven and earth shall not pass away until every prophesy has been fulfilled - we are in the last days but as a christian you don`t have to worry about the world coming to an end - he will make a new world with true justice and government - fear and heartache will cease

(v) if you have believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth (Romans 10 v8) you are saved (born again) you cannot become unsaved - ( the gifts of God are without repentence) but if you return to your past behaviour, the bible tells you clearly the outcome that is, no whoremonger , adulterer, liar or thief or witch and so on will enter in - hey, i found out the other day that disobedience is as the sin of witchcraft so we have to be careful - if you are not in you are out and you will spend time with whom you obeyed and spent time with on earth - simply put : If God be God serve him - if Baal be Baal (which includes making yourself your own god and going about things in your own way ) get on with it - YOU have to chose

(vi) it is okay to feel weak (tell him about it - a broken and contrite heart he will not despise) but dont go back to your former lust and state, otherwise you will be as the bible says `like a dog to your vomit and a hog to your wallow` and will have crucified Jesus afresh

Ask God to settle you and to take away the doubts and fears - tell the devil he is a liar

The household of faith are standing with you in the gap - stay connected to the source

God bless you and keep

If you believe in God, then that means you believe what He says, which means you believe the Bible when it says "no one gets to the Father, except through Me" (Jesus speaking in that passage)
So praying in your own way, if that way is not through Christ, is not expressing faith, and is not really believing. You either believe God's Word is truth or you don't.

God does not cause wars. But religion? Yes. absolutely. Has been happening that way since the beginning of time. Religion is mans rules, and rules are burdensome and they cause fights, and as you see, wars.

Relationship is what changes people. And a relationship with Jesus Christ will change you.

Yes you will go to hell if you stop believing in Jesus as the Son of God and your personal Savior.
As for religion causing wars, go to allah land and tell them to be nice. The bible tells us to seek peace. The koran commands muslims to start wars. Don't blame all religions for what muslims are doing to the world.

To tell the truth I think God will shake your hand when go to the playground in the sky because you have not been drawn into this pathetic war over religion. Me personally I do not believe in a God or any Gods. People use religion as an excuse to conquer. It has been going on for as long as we gained intelligence and personality and will do so long after we have gone

You say you pray and my question is do you know Him that you pray to, if you do - do you doubt Him and why?. I think you need to search for him while he is still to be found for night will come and there wont be time. Read your Bible and ask Him to fill you with the knowledge of him, that you may without doubt say ' i know him.' I have no reason to doubt not only his presence and powers but also his redeeming work at Calvery. Ephesians 1 verses 17 to 19 is my prayer for you. He will give you rest. God bless you. If you dont believe Him yeh its hell bound unless if there is another scripture that escapes me.

Only when people start to respect other peoples beliefs rather than trying always to say I am right and they are wrong as opposed to live and let live and the fact that it really doesnt matter what god you believe in as long as you are happy will the endless bloodshed over religion stop and this must be done by all religions and not just a single one, because in all groups there are lunatics who believe violoence is the answer. as for you stopping believing that has to be a descision you make

Do you honestly think that if you stop being a so-called Christian that it will stop the wars? God says in His Word "World without End." God will come and restore this earth and reign in Jerusalem. You need to be looking to Jesus now because at this moment your soul may be in jeopardy of hell. In Revelation Jesus said if you are lukewarm He will spew you out of His mouth. If you stop believing in Jesus Christ, you are rejecting and denying Jesus and Jesus will deny you before Almighty God.

You''re right. Religion IS causing all this conflict. Why? Because it feeds and nourishes ignorance and superstition to maintain its own power. There is no god; there is no hell; there is no afterlife of any sort. Stop believing this ridiculous nonsense and, far from going to hell, you'll find joy and beauty here on earth by freeing your mind to understand it rather than subsuming understanding to blind faith.

I agree,
God is not religious nor does He want us to be. I believe Christ fulfilled the one true religion, Judaism, and all religion now is a deception. It takes more than believing: In one of Pauls letters he wrote 'you believe in God and you do well, the devils believe also, and tremble'). We have to obey God too.
I have felt the way you feel about stopping belief, but He brought me through. Automatically when people hear the word religion, they think 'God' and vice verse', Reliogion is mans way to God. Christianity (not a religion), is Gods way to man.

If you read the Gospels and study the teachings of Jesus Christ, you will find that He always and everywhere taught non-violence and an end to violence. War is not fought truly in God's name. God does not seek vengeance or the destruction of anyone. The same sun that shines on the righteous also shines on the unrighteous. It is something to think about that Jesus, the Son of God, the healer of the sick and the preacher to the masses, allowed himself to be imprisoned, tortured and crucified without a single act in his defense. He could have easily taken himself down from that cross and laid waste to all around Him, but he did not. No, you will not go to Hell.
