Because God is real.

Even though Santa Claus is a symbol of Christmas, Santa Claus is not real and he is fake. He is the product of the imagination of the Europeans. Children should be reminded that Santa Claus is ont real and he is a fake. Children should be brought to Sunday schools in churches so that they will grow in faith in God.

Children do not grow out believing in God because they are not yet matured to know about God. Their brains wander on their imagination. That is why they should be brought to Sunday school in churches.

Children are encouraged to stop believing in Santa Claus when they get older, but belief in God in constantly reinforced in all sorts of ways. If there was a church of Santa Claus and children were taken to it even as they were growing up, then they would probably continue to believe in him. Most people are influenced by the people around them, so if most of the people around them believe in god, they're more likely to stay with that belief.

Because Santa Claus is a made up belief and God isn't

There are some people who are taught about God from an early age. For the rest, God is something they grow into, not out of. The more you study the world around you, the clearer it is that competition and randomness do not even start to explain the diversity you see in the world. It isn't that the intricate design of life on earth is proof of God, it is simply evidence. No one shoved God down my throat--he was always around, and eventually I took notice and started learning about him.

Since you are a religious zealot, I'm not going to try to convince you. I'll just ask you to keep your eyes open. I went to secular schools, and still have never had a biology professor who believed that Darwin understood the origin of the species--they felt he made important discoveries, and used his ideas to understand the way organisms change from generation to generation and as a framework for taxonomy. Every one of them believed there is some kind of intelligent design, though their views differed from the version religion tries to push on the education system. Usually they would just point out evidence of design and refuse to speculate on the nature or motives of the designer.

Santa Claus is a myth perpetuated by society. Don't get me wrong, Santa is fun but God is real.

Every morning when the sun rises, I know that God is there. When I gave birth to my children, I knew God was there. God is within everyone of us. Some of us choose not to grow a relationship with him while other do.

You can't outgrow something that is part of who we are...even if you don't believe.

I did for a while. I was raised in a Catholic family and until I was about 13 or 14 went to church every Sunday. After that I fell into the fuzzy area between Atheism and Agnosticism. When I was about 21 I began looking to Buddhism. Now, I am 23 and have finally found what I believe to be my true path, Islam.

sum do, but blame the parents for being persistant with pushing there believe's on to there children, they will say they dont but that is far from the truth, children are not born into this world to believe in god( i have a 4 year old and he knows nothing about god because i aint pushed it on him) , its pushed into them from parents, that is how it works, generation to generation, its sad, and they say god gave free will, BS

I agree with - angieb 100 - who answered you in part- " you can't outgrow something that is a part of who you are...even if you don't believe". She is right on!
I would only add- because God is a part of who you are...even if you don't believe...you will always need Him.
