There's a guy at my school that I really like-he's super fun and easy to talk to, but we don't really have any classes together. On valentine's day, I wrote him a short note telling him i like him and asking if he would ever want to hang out. He took the note well, and we went to see a movie and we really got to know each other better. Anyway, he came to the bball game yesterday to watch me perform on dance team, and EVERYONE was telling me he was gonna ask me out. Even his friend, who was right there, kept asking him if he was gonna ask me out. He didn't end up doing it, but i don't think he's avoiding me or anything. All my friends say he likes me, and i'm soooo confused right now. Do you think he's just nervous or something? I know he's had some not-so-good girlfriends in the past-is that maybe affecting him now? What do you think?

You've already been out with him, though - and you say you got to know each other better, He came to see you on the dance team. For heaven's sake, the guy likes you! Stop fretting and worrying - he will ask you out again but you MUST get rid of these friends who are trying to egg him on and putting too much pressure on him. Keep it all low-key - talk to him on his own and don't feel you have to share everything with your mates.

Actually, if I were that guy, I would have run a mile that day! Can you imagine how he must have felt, being surrounded by excitable girls all watching for him to make a move on you? Even his best mate was in on it! Think yourself lucky if he is still interested in you!

You talk too much, maybe he got scared on your first date, I almost felt asleep reading this long and boring story. Cut it short, guys like short and to the point conversations.

This can be a very private thing for a guy. Probably he didn't want all the attention drawn towards him.

He's probably waiting to do it at the right time, when his friends aren't pressuring him to do it, and when everyone expects him to. Just wait, and stay open to him.

He's probably nervous because people keep pestering him about it, he needs to do it on his own. Or you could always ask him out!
