The world was created by Jesus Christ acting under the direction of God the Father. All things were created spiritually before they were created physically. We believe that we all were excited to come to earth, and that it was created for our benefit so that we could learn and grow.

God, jesus and Adam. They believe there was a war in heaven before we came down here. There was a counsel in heaven and there everyone who would be onthe Earth was there in the pre-existance. Jesus and satan are brothers and God asks for a plan (after making the heavens and the Earth) Jesus says everyone has free will, satan says to make everyone do what is right so everyone comes back. God likes Jesus plan. Satan starts a war. Thos for Jesus are white people, those who don't kow what side to pick are half black, half white and those for satan are black. Anyways, Jesus wins and we all get free will. Satan gets kicked on the Earth, tempts Eve and the Mormonms are happy that Eve eats the apple and her eyes are open.

I can't speak for all members of the LDS church, but I personally speculate that God used natural processes to form the Universe, our galaxy, our solar system, and this planet. I believe He guided the creation process through which life evolved.
Edit: Ice Princes...36 years in the LDS church and you have such an incorrect understanding of LDS doctrine??? What's with the white, black and half-white, half-black people??? Could you please cite a reference for that? Thanks!
