I can. It's all about going a manageable pace. For long runs, it is good to run at a pace where you can have a conversation (known as conversational pace in the running world) because this shows that you aren't overdoing it.
Running can do some damage to your body so try to run on soft surfaces (tracks, trails, grass) if possible.

Uh bud running 7 miles isnt good... you know what that does to your knees, hips and leg joint. That really isnt good for you my father had to get leg surgery from running so much when he was younger all the impact on his knees damaged them
