If a soldier sees a hand grenade is about to blow up, killing all his buddies, but he dives on it and saves them -- does he commit suicide?

No, he has voluntarily laid down his life for his friends. Jesus did the same. Jesus is quoted at John 15:13 as saying: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."

That is the dumbest, ignorant, illogical question I've read. (And I've read a lot of stupid questions)

I suppose you believe all of those emergency workers that ran into the Twin Towers (on Sept 11) and died commited suicide also. They gave their lives up to save others.

Just plain dumb. know what? You should remove your ID from Yahoo all together for that one. Matter of fact, you're banned from the internet.

Give up on life? He begged God if there was any other way.
He was the Ultimate sacrifice. He died so you can have eternal life. It is mocking and blasepheme any other way.

God Bless.
