I've tried everything including dermatologists prescriptions. Some potions work well for some people and not others. I can't use any soap basedproducts on my skin.

The most succesful skin care products that work best for me is rosacea remedy http://www.rosacea-remedy.com/remedy.html

The intensive treatment oil is sea buckthorn based and works brilliantly for my skin. Read upon the medicinal qualitiesof sea buckthorn. It really is a unique plant with some almost unbelievable health benefits for problem skin. I try to encourage everyone to buy some to keep in their first aid cabinet. I don't think there's a more powerful non prescription medicine available for healing damaged skin. Fascinating stuff but not very well recognised in the western world as yet.

You could try asking various rosacea treatment companies if they'd send you a trial sample. Rather than waste a lotof money on products that don't suit your particular skin type.

Cetaphil is recommended by dermatologists and it is profiled on the 'International Rosacea Foundation' web site and is highly recommended by them also. That web site has a lot of good information for rosacea sufferers. Hope you can visit it.

well this probably isnt in your price range.... but dermalogica has a product line called "ultra calming" too. and im pretty sure they are animal cruelty-free. and also that line is some of the gentlest products on the market. the cleanser is so gentle that its formulated so that you dont have to use water to wash it off. because supposedly some people have such sensitive skin that it gets irritated when contacted with running water. so they say you just apply with hands and then take a sponge or muslin cloth and wipe it off.
