I usually trim my own bangs and have found that a little snip goes a long way. Use a pair of styling scissors, which can be found at CVS. Section off the hair you want to trim and pull the rest back so you don't have to worry about it falling down or getting in the way. I usually dampen the hair I want to trim, and holding it between my index and middle fingers, I trim off the bottom (vs. the top) this makes a blunt bang, so to soften it, I twist the ends and snip again to give it a light layered effect. It may take a few times twisting and snipping to create the look you want. A rule of thumb I try to go by, is that your bangs should hit right at your eyebrows. Happy Snipping!!!

YA, you gather the hair ya want to be bangs, then ya twist and keep twistin till its a tight cone shape, then cut about half in or how ever short ya want, this method insures that the hair does not look like it was cut straight across. this really works great, its done in the best salons in paris! happy cutting.
