Ammonium carbonate. The commercial salt was formerly known as sal volatile or salt of hartshorn. Ammonium carbonate is used when crushed as a smelling salt. It can be crushed when needed in order to revive someone that has fainted. It is also known as "baker's ammonia"

You can buy it at walmart or chain stores; however, they are not recommended as much as they used to be. Ammonia is very very irritating to the lungs and membranes.

Hope it helps.

Resurrection spray?

It used to be if you fainted, people would open up some smelling salts, but it wasn't a spray. I've never heard of any other spray.
