The war against the Iraqi government and army ended May 2003. We are not in a war against Iraq any longer and haven't been for some time. We have been fighting the war on terrorism in that country since the end of the Iraqi war. The conflict being waged there is against hostile insurgents and known terrorist cells. We are rebuilding, giving aid, and policing Iraq at the same time we fight terrorists. So, my opinion of the Iraq war is that we won and I am glad we did. My opinion of the rebuilding of Iraq and the fighting of hostile forces is that we can not leave until we are sure they have a stable police force, military, and government. Otherwise, a dictator will once again take the seat and we will suffer the ripple effects of that. The blood shed will be in vein if we pull out now. I desperately want our troops home, but the mission must be accomplished first.

This war is wrong as it is NOT sanctioned. Not a legalized war to starts with.
That is why this war failed to gain supports.
The last war that is when Iraq invaded Kuwait.Former Bush sr. and America is seen as a hero. Thanks to the american, the Kuwaiti folks can sleep in peace again.
Not even one of those arabic country or muslim people went in to help the Kuwaitis. This shows how fragile the muslims were then and now and before. The problem with the muslims is even after you helped them, they still calls you as an " infidel ". What a group of back stabbers they are.
This means the american " infidels " soldiers have to do it.
Bush Jr.thought it is the right time to finish off Saddam in case he stirs up problems again.
But he went in with the wrong accusation/s
And now it is a bloody mess.Wheres the american soldiers cant stay there, and cant leaves there. In a way they are NOt welcomed , and in a way they also cannot goes back home.
The only hope now is for the Iraqis themselves able to find peace among themselves as fast as possible and let the " infidels " goes home to their families.
Most world leaders and those muslim leaders in the OIC ( yes, they are muslim leaders but acting more infidels then you and i here ) are greedy as well, they dont support this war and were cursing the Americans but actually they are just waiting until the war is over. And they hopes to secures lucrative contracts to rebuilt it.What i want to say is Bush and Blair made a mistake. They should have waited for the " greenlight " from the UN council.
But of course leaders from Saudi , Kuwait and Israel are happy that saddam is dead.
Now most muslims ppl thinks that america is bullying them, BUT they forgot who was the ones " infidels " who went in to Kuwait to help! where were they?

I think that unless you're in the service, you don't have a right to an opinion. Our troops know better than anyone else what is going on.
I don't support the war but I support the troops. Get out of the Military section, dear. We've rehashed this issue more times than any of us can count.

Personal opinion...well I think that there are too many personal opinions on the matter. No matter what ANYONE says, no one really knows what they think they do. The President and military leaders actually KNOW, so who are we to second guess them and their decision making? I know my thoughts aren't very popular, but if we weren't over there right now, there would be people complaining about that, or they'd find something else to picket Washington about.
People in the US just want somthing to complain about. How about we all stop complaining about this, and support all the people who are over there, yes, protecting YOU whiners.

Obviously a lot of NON Military are hanging out here this morning... I think we are in the right place at the right time, but we need to take the gloves off and quit trying to be so PC about this conflict. Our military is a very efficient machine when allowed to do its job as trained... LET THEM DO THEIR JOB!!

It's not a war and never has been. It is an illegal occupation of a Sovereign state.
